Article 1. Outline of the Service
“In-Game Currency” as used herein refers to the currencies and other items set forth in the table below which a user is able to purchase, acquire or use through the Game.
By using the In-Game Currency, a user may enjoy paid content or other content of the game application (hereinafter referred to as “the Game”). If a user holds multiple Game IDs for the Game, the user cannot pool together In-Game Currency granted to the individual Game IDs.
In-Game Currency may be used only in the Game, and does not indicate the stored value or the balance of goods equivalent thereto. The Company may, at any time, terminate or discontinue the In-Game Currency without notice, irrespective of the reason given.
Article 2. Purchasing In-Game Currency
A user may purchase In-Game Currency for the amount displayed (which includes taxes) on the In-Game Currency purchase confirmation screen in the Game. Minor users (a person under twenty years of age) must obtain the consent of a person with parental authority before purchasing In-Game Currency. No refund shall be made for purchased In-Game Currency, irrespective of the reasons.
A user shall pay the purchase price for the In-Game Currency by a prescribed payment method. No receipt or other proof of payment shall be issued for the settlement of charges for In-Game Currency purchased by the user.
Any disputes between a user and a settlement agent in connection with charges and other payments shall be settled between the parties concerned. The Company is not liable for such disputes.
Article 3. Use of In-Game Currency
A user may use In-Game Currency to the extent of their balance to receive paid content, or other content. Upon receiving the paid content or other content, the In-Game Currency used for receiving the paid content or other content will disappear. In-Game Currency purchased by the user will be expended first.
A user may check the balance of the In-Game Currency in the Game. In the case of an increase or decrease in the amount of In-Game Currency due to the provision of paid content or other content, a user may check the available balance displayed in the Game. The user shall immediately notify the Company should an error involving the balance be found. If a user fails to give said the aforementioned notification, the Company is not liable for any damages suffered by the user.
A user may not exchange In-Game Currency for cash, property, or any other economic benefit.
Article 4. Management of and Inquiries on In-Game Currency
If a user’s In-Game Currency is not accurately displayed in the In-Game Currency statement or on the screen due to errors in the program or other errors, the Company may, in its capacity, make adjustments and changes so the In-Game Currency is displayed accurately.
If the Company finds that a user has acquired In-Game Currency in a dishonest, fraudulent manner without regard for the rules and conditions set forth by the Company, the Company may revoke the In-Game Currency concerned.
Article 5. Suspension of Use
If a user violates the TOU or the terms and conditions including precautions of use or other precautions stated in the Game, the Company may take measures including a suspension in the provision or use of the Game against the user. If the Company interrupts, suspends or discontinues a user’s use of the Game, the Company may choose to not refund the remaining In-Game Currency held by the user, if any.
Article 6. Refund for In-Game Currency
No refund shall be made for the In-Game Currency, irrespective of the reasons, except when a refund is to be made for the In-Game Currency under law.
Article 7. Cost
A user shall bear any taxes or incidental costs incurred as a result of purchasing or using the In-Game Currency, as well as any costs incurred for using the Game.
Article 8. Suspension of Provision of the Game and In-Game Currency
The Company may interrupt or suspend the provision of the Game and the In-Game Currency without notice in order to implement the periodic or emergency maintenance of equipment necessary for providing the Game and the In-Game Currency, when said equipment fails, or in other cases found necessary by the Company.
Article 9. Discontinued Handling of In-Game Currency
In response to amendments to or abolition of the laws and regulations, changes in economic and social conditions or changes in other circumstances surrounding the Company, or in other cases found necessary by the Company, the Company may discontinue handling of the In-Game Currency.
Article 10. Disclaimer
The Company shall not be liable for any damages occurred or caused by a user’s inability to acquire or use the In-Game Currency due to failures, maintenance or other errors of computer systems, except in cases caused by an intentional act or gross negligence by the Company.
The Company shall not, irrespective of the reasons, be held liable for loss of the In-Game Currency itself or the value associated with the In-Game Currency arising from accidents, including theft of Game IDs and passwords, or any other damages, except for those caused by an intentional act or gross negligence by the Company.
Even if a minor user (a person under twenty years of age) violates the TOU when purchasing In-Game Currency and makes a purchase beyond the prescribed upper limit separately set forth, the Company shall not accept a request for cancelling the purchase after the fact.
Article 11. Scope of the TOU
The Terms of Service shall apply to any matters not stipulated in the TOU. For any discrepancy between the provisions of the TOU and the Terms of Service, the TOU shall prevail.
